Jesus Calms the Waters: View-Master

View-Master 3-D Bible Stories: "Suddenly a strong wind gusted! Tall waves broke over the boat! It began to fill with water. The disciples woke Jesus complaining, "Teacher, do you not care that we are about to drown?" He stood up. "Peace!" he commanded the storm. "Be still!" The wind fell. The sea was calm. The disciples were filled with awe and whispered, "Who is this Man that even the winds and the waves obey him?"

Jesus Christ Passion Play 1930's

The Passion Play … a 3D Tru-Vue filmstrip from the 1930's. This open air pageant drama was presented in the years 1932, 1933 and 1934 in various parts of the United States with a cast of more than 1,000 persons. I took this photo through one of the Tru-Vue stereoscope eyepieces. Before television and other forms of entertainment, 3D stereoscopes used to provide families with evening entertainment. God Bless You Today … and EVERY DAY! AND … remember to love others, just as Jesus Christ loves you.

Our Lady of Lourdes Phosphorescent Postcard

MADONNA DI LOURDES: Glowing postcard (left day, right night), circa 1930's-1940's. One of the most unusual parts of my Wonders of the Bible collection has to do with photoluminescence. These are items that glow brightly when exposed to ultra-violet light. Unlike posters that stop glowing once the light is turned off, this postcard continues to glow throughout the night. Directions state: "esponente l'immagine alla luce ed osservatela nell'oscurit√†". May God Bless You Today … And EVERY Day!

Good Friday by Julie Longacre

GOOD FRIDAY, a giclee print by Julie Longacre: One never knows where Christian art will show up. With this print, it was hanging on the wall in an ice cream store. It was marked for sale, so I bought it and added it to our Wonders of the Bible collection. I hope you enjoy viewing it. Remember the love that Jesus had for ALL others. Jesus loves YOU! May God Bless You ... Today and Every Day!

Ephrata Mennonite School Presentations

We just returned from giving 5 one-hour presentations to students at Ephrata Mennonite School in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Students enjoyed lasers, holograms, lenticulars, micro and nano scripture, Rembrandt artwork, ancient scrolls, stromatolites, and even touched a moon rock (NWA5000). Proclaiming Jesus Christ through visual arts, science and communication technologies. That's what we do. God Bless You!

Rock of Moses Stereoview

THE ROCK OF MOSES: Antique 3D stereo photography by Edward Wilson, Philadelphia, 1882. "Located in the beautiful Wady Feiran, and declared to be the rock struck by Moses to supply the thirsty Israelites with water, as mentioned in Exodus XVII:6. The wedged-shaped depression, from which a piece must have fallen, is said to have been caused by the rod of Moses. From this depression the waters miraculously flowed." This card can be viewed in 3D depth when placed in an antique stereoscope. It is almost as if you were there again. There are many "regular" photographs of this rock, but not many as a 3D stereoview card. One of several 3D cards showing the split rock of Moses in my Wonders of the Bible collection. God Bless You Today -- And EVERY DAY! Love one another … just as Jesus loves YOU!
