Christ on the Cross 3D Lenticular 1950s
1 Peter 3:18 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for
the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the
flesh, but quickened by the Spirit" Here we have a 3D lenticular circa
1950's showing Jesus on the cross. This piece is approximately 27 x 35
cm in size. The real artistic appreciation should come from the amazing
talent and work constructing the physical dioramas that were used as
models for the stereo photography. Most were miniature sculptural
scenes! For many around the world, religious based 3D lenticulars were
always a source of wonder ... for their fascinating dimensional scenes
depicting the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God Bless
