Christian "poster" stamp (1940's). Also known as "Cinderella" stamps by
collectors, these stamps were not issued by any government for postal
use. They would be issued by private organizations (religious or
otherwise), and people would use them on the backs of envelopes as a
visual enhancement. For many people, paper items such as these were
simply thrown away. However, I have always enjoyed collecting paper
based "throw aways", also known as "ephemera". I believe that these
seemingly unimportant items document the history of Christianity just as
authentically as the more important items found in museums. Sometimes
even more so! God Bless You ... Today and Every Day! AND -- Let others
see the Love of Jesus Christ in all that you do today!
