Jesus Christ Passion Play 1930's

The Passion Play … a 3D Tru-Vue filmstrip from the 1930's. This open air pageant drama was presented in the years 1932, 1933 and 1934 in various parts of the United States with a cast of more than 1,000 persons. I took this photo through one of the Tru-Vue stereoscope eyepieces. Before television and other forms of entertainment, 3D stereoscopes used to provide families with evening entertainment.
