MADONNA DI LOURDES: Glowing postcard (left day, right night), circa 1930's-1940's. One of the most unusual parts of my Wonders of the Bible collection has to do with photoluminescence. These are items that glow brightly when exposed to ultra-violet light. Unlike posters that stop glowing once the light is turned off, this postcard continues to glow throughout the night. Directions state: "esponente l'immagine alla luce ed osservatela nell'oscurità". May God Bless You Today … And EVERY Day!
